Integrating the Mountainscape Into Therapy

Set on seven wooded acres in the foothills of Colorado’s Front Range, the Morrison campus includes a geodesic dome, on-site gym, and outdoor spaces used for group therapy, movement, and reflection. The natural environment and outdoor activities—such as hiking, rock climbing, and nature-based therapy—are designed not just for recreation, but to foster resilience and self-awareness. Getting clients outside of the clinical setting encourages vulnerability and promotes healing.

Family Support That Prepares Loved Ones for What’s Next

Rather than offering intensive family therapy, the program emphasizes education, communication strategies, and support during the later stages of care—especially as clients prepare for discharge. Families are invited to learn about addiction recovery, develop healthy boundaries, and prepare for the realities of supporting a loved one after treatment. This structure ensures that family involvement aligns with each client’s readiness, helping to reduce conflict and support lasting recovery. By the time a client is stepping down to outpatient care or sober living, families have the tools they need to participate in recovery without overstepping.
