At the edge of the Wallhaven community, New Season Akron is part of New Season, a nationwide treatment network providing comprehensive outpatient care designed to support opioid recovery. The center’s flexible programs allow clients to continue their daily activities while receiving care. Services include medications for addiction treatment (MAT), with options such as methadone, buprenorphine and Suboxone, to address withdrawal and cravings. Flexible Take-Home Medication Options
Clients who meet certain criteria in their recovery process can become eligible to bring doses of their prescribed medications home with them. This flexibility is a benefit for clients managing childcare, job obligations, and other responsibilities. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis through a structured system that tracks factors such as scheduled meeting attendance, behavior, and safety.
Individual, Group, and Family Counseling

The center also helps clients obtain health insurance coverage and explore available transportation options.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
