Specialized Residential Mental Health Care
AMFM Mental Health Treatment provides trauma-informed residential care for adults managing complex mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and co-occurring challenges. Programs are designed for individuals seeking structured support in a calm, therapeutic environment that encourages connection, self-discovery, and sustainable recovery. Gender-specific and mixed-gender programs are available, providing the option for care environments that align with each client’s comfort and goals. Women’s tracks create a safe, affirming space to explore trauma, identity, and interpersonal growth. Small group therapy encourages openness and mutual understanding among participants.
Integrated, Evidence-Based Treatment
Clients receive personalized care plans built around proven therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Psychiatric oversight, medication management, and trauma-focused therapy are incorporated as needed to promote emotional stability and lasting behavioral change.
Experiential and Holistic Therapies
Healing extends beyond traditional talk therapy through experiential and holistic practices. Clients engage in equine therapy, art and music therapy, mindfulness exercises, and movement-based activities like yoga. These therapies help clients process emotion, build confidence, and rediscover balance through creative and physical expression.
Small, Supportive, and Home-Like Settings
Each AMFM residence provides an intimate, small-scale setting, offering both shared and private rooms within a comfortable, home-like environment. Communal living areas, outdoor reflection spaces, and structured daily routines foster safety, trust, and peer connection. This small-group model allows for focused attention and individualized support throughout treatment. Personal computers and WiFi are also allowed during treatment to keep clients connected to their loved ones.
Continued Care and Long-Term Recovery
Discharge planning begins at admission to ensure continuity after residential treatment. The clinical team coordinates with outpatient providers, family members, and community resources to create realistic step-down plans. These may include ongoing therapy, medication management, or peer support, helping clients sustain recovery and reintegrate confidently into daily life.
