Renaissance Recovery - Nashville
Overview
Trauma-informed outpatient substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment for adults within a thriving local sober community. Flexible hours allow people to receive the care they need without taking time away from work, school, or parenting. The partial hospitalization program (PHP) runs for about 40 hours per week. This level of intensive work lets clients focus most fully on treatment. Intensive outpatient (IOP) includes 9 to 12 hours of weekly therapy. Regular outpatient sessions allow for the most independence, and aftercare plans are designed to support long-term recovery. This LGBTQIA+ inclusive facility accepts private insurance and self pay.

Outpatient Flexibility
Those who have personal and responsibilities that they can’t get away from can find the balance they need with outpatient treatment. They’re able to step down between levels of care (PHP, IOP, and regular outpatient) as needs change. Staff keep an eye on clients’ progress to talk through their progress and any issues they’re struggling with. People can receive care from home or stay in sober living housing. These living arrangements can be made during outpatient care, and afterward, so people can ease back to independence at their own pace.
Client-and-Counselor-Created Plans
Clients have a say in putting together their care plans, so the ones they have are ones that they feel good about. Counselors help clients shape these, with treatment for substance use and any co-occurring mental health conditions. Psychiatrists are also on staff for one-on-one mental health treatment.
Trauma Treatment, Types of Therapy, and Medications
Therapy is trauma-informed. Evidence-based therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address both emotional balance and shifts in behavior and mindset over time. Mental health medications can be prescribed. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) may be prescribed to help clients stabilize and so they’re able to get the most benefit out of therapy.
Skills and Coping Strategies
Skills training is mixed into treatment; managing stress, coping with emotions; resolving conflicts, communication, and developing routines are a few topics that are covered. Workshops let clients practice these skills together and get constructive feedback.
Aftercare and Recovery Community
People don’t leave treatment without a long-term plan in place. Relapse prevention is one area that receives thorough coverage before people leave the program. Staff can help people connect with community resources and refer them to local therapists, so they’re able to continue getting support once they’re again living independently.
