Flexible treatment scheduling

With morning and evening sessions available during the week, clients may have options for receiving treatment while also tending to work, educational, or family responsibilities. Intensive outpatient program (IOP) sessions take place several times per week and support clients through challenges that may affect recovery in everyday life. Group sessions provide the opportunity to connect with peers navigating similar circumstances. Telehealth services may be available through the facility's broader network but may need to be confirmed.

Counseling and medication support

Counseling may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, trauma-related counseling, and 12-Step programs. In addition to therapeutic approaches, clients receiving care for alcohol or opioid use may have access to MAT, including buprenorphine and naltrexone. If clients are receiving eligible medications from an outside prescriber, the facility may be able to help manage those medications as well, allowing medication support to continue alongside counseling.

Family support and education

Family members have the opportunity to take part in counseling and education. This may help them better understand addiction and how it can affect relationships and the household. Coping skills and practical ways to support the client in recovery may be included. This support for clients and their families may continue through the facility's continuing care program.

Continuing care and broader support

Clients who have completed formal treatment may take part in a weekly continuing care group led by a facilitator for up to two years. This may include alumni resources, peer support, discharge planning, follow-up services, and naloxone and overdose education. The facility's broader network may provide access to additional services in the event that treatment needs change. These may include withdrawal management (detox), residential treatment, extended care, partial hospitalization (PHP), and continuing care.
