Full continuum of step-down care
Clients can start treatment with detox (withdrawal management) when needed. This stage is medically supervised 24/7, and medications for addiction treatment (MAT) can be prescribed when needed to help ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings. When stabilized, clients can transition into residential care, then to outpatient programs including partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP), at the same location. At the start of treatment, clinicians assess clients to determine the best level of care for them to begin their recovery.
Multidisciplinary treatment team
Care is delivered by a team which includes counselors, doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, and psychologists. These professionals work together to deliver whole-person treatment adapted to each client’s unique needs. Substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns can be addressed together within the same comprehensive care plan.
Therapies and peer support
A variety of evidence-based therapies are used in combination to address the issues underlying substance use. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), DBT, and cognitive processing therapy. Art and music therapy are also offered for a creative outlet. For peer support groups, clients can choose between 12-step and science-based SMART recovery, or explore both to find what works best for them.
Recreation and wellness
Amenities include an art studio, gym, sports courts, and a recreation area with games. Clients can gather around a fire pit during free time to relax and socialize. Chefs prepare healthy meals so clients get the nutrients they need while they recover.
Aftercare planning
Before clients leave treatment, case managers set them up with a discharge plan for long-term support. This can include a relapse prevention plan and connections to community resources. An alumni network helps keep clients connected after their time at the center.
