The Detox Unit offers medically supervised detox in a hospital setting, with around-the-clock nursing and access to emergency services, ensuring safety for patients detoxing from alcohol, opioids, or benzodiazepines. This level of care can be especially important for people with preexisting health conditions or limited access to other medical resources.

Psychiatric Stabilization for Co-Occurring Needs

The program includes a licensed 20-bed adult psychiatric and chemical dependency unit, and offers support for people with substance use challenges and co-occurring psychiatric symptoms such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, and suicidal ideations. Treatment is led by a board-certified psychiatrist, with support from detox-trained nurse practitioners and clinical staff. This setup helps patients begin stabilizing both medically and mentally.

Designed for Access, Not Delay

Admissions are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The facility can assist with non-emergency medical transportation, assisting individuals without reliable transit options access care. This flexibility helps reduce delays that can be dangerous during moments of crisis and makes the program more reachable for people without access to reliable transportation.

Dignity and Comfort in a Clinical Setting

Each patient stays in a private room with a television, and is allowed to bring personal items such as books, phones, laptops, and sealed tobacco products. These small allowances support comfort and a sense of control during what can be a vulnerable time.

Preparing for What Comes Next

As a short-term stabilization program, Ivy Creek focuses on immediate safety and health—not extended rehab or therapy. But staff work with each patient to create discharge plans and make referrals to appropriate outpatient, residential, or mental health providers. This helps lay the groundwork for a safer and more supported next step in recovery.
