Full continuum of adult addiction treatment

All levels of substance use care are available for adults, including those with co-occurring mental health conditions. When needed, treatment can start with medically monitored withdrawal management (detox). Once stabilized, clients can attend inpatient treatment, then step down to a partial hospitalization program (PHP), then an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Sober living residences are offered for adults in the PHP program. Having all of these care levels within one cohesive system allows for smoother transitions as recovery needs change and progress.

Mental health and behavioral health programs for youth

Acute inpatient psychiatric and behavioral health treatment is provided for children ages 5 to 11 and adolescents ages 12 to 17. Clients within these age groups stay in separate wings of the facility and participate in programming that includes individual, group, and family therapy, social skills development, goal setting, and educational services. Medications can be prescribed and managed as needed. The average length of stay for the acute inpatient program is 5 to 14 days. In-person and virtual outpatient treatment is available for teens.

Multiple conditions treated

The center is equipped to treat a wide range of mental health and behavioral health conditions, including severe conditions. These include anxiety, depression, trauma histories, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and phobias. Youth conditions treated also include mood dysregulation, social withdrawal, destructive behavior to self and others, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct problems, and impulse-control difficulties.

Assessments and early discharge planning

When treatment begins, clients receive a thorough mental health assessment so clinicians can determine the right level of care for their needs. Discharge planning begins at the start, so that comprehensive aftercare plans can be put together for the client to make transitions smoother. Adults stepping down from residential care to outpatient programs receive education on topics including relapse prevention, goal setting, emotional regulation, and healthy relationships.
