Residential Care in a Supportive Setting
The program is dedicated to helping young adult men ages 18–35 facing mental health concerns, substance use, social media and gaming addiction, trauma, and eating disorders. Treatment is designed to provide structure and safety while encouraging independence. Clients live in a home-like environment surrounded by nature, creating space for reflection and growth. Treatment stays typically last 30 to 90 days, giving enough time for in-depth healing and preparation for life beyond treatment. Gender-specific programs allow young men to address sensitive issues in a setting designed for openness and peer connection. The program addresses not only immediate symptoms but also the root causes of distress, offering a path toward resilience and stability.
Integrated and Evidence-Based Approach
The treatment model blends proven therapies with real-world skill-building. Clients engage in evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), supported by psychiatric care and medication management when needed. Beyond traditional therapy, young men participate in yoga, martial arts, kayaking, and creative arts. This combination allows them to process emotions in multiple ways, while also developing coping tools they can apply outside treatment.
Vocational Training and Life Skills
Each week, clients spend about 20 hours on academics, vocational coaching, or structured life-skills training. This includes support for college coursework, tutoring, and career exploration, as well as practical skills like budgeting, nutrition, and time management. Vocational counseling helps clients prepare for the workplace, from résumé building to improving executive functioning and interview readiness. By weaving education and job preparation into treatment, the facility ensures progress continues beyond discharge, supporting confidence and self-sufficiency.
Family Therapy and Involvement
Family plays a central role in the facility’s recovery process. Programs are designed to repair communication breakdowns, rebuild trust, and create healthier dynamics at home. Evidence-based approaches like Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT) guide parents and loved ones in supporting the client’s progress. Educational sessions are held to teach families about mental health and recovery. Structured family weekends and ongoing check-ins give parents space to practice new skills and stay actively engaged.
Alumni Program for Long-Term Guidance
The alumni program helps young adults stay connected after treatment. Former clients can join virtual support groups, attend in-person events, and participate in ongoing workshops that reinforce coping strategies. Alumni can engage in peer mentoring to offer encouragement to those just beginning their recovery journey. Social outings, volunteer opportunities, and continued access to staff guidance help create a sense of belonging and accountability. Through this program, clients form lasting connections that help to reduce isolation and strengthen resilience.
