Teen-Focused Care Rooted in Real-Life Needs

Treatment plans support adolescents ages 12–18 who are navigating challenges like depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, and substance use. The program meets teens where they are—with a supportive structure that balances therapeutic work, family involvement, and academic progress. Every aspect of care is designed with adolescents in mind, helping them build resilience and skills to thrive at home, at school, and in their communities.

Blending Talk Therapy with Adventurous Activities

This treatment approach uses both evidence-based therapies and experiential practices that extend care beyond the therapy room. Teens engage in creative and movement-based activities like art, music, and equine therapy, while also participating in nature-based outings reflective of the broader Washington landscape. These include kayaking in the San Juan Islands and seasonal treks through Olympic National Park. This combination helps teens develop coping strategies, build self-confidence, and practice emotional regulation in dynamic, real-world settings.

Affirming and Gender-Aligned Care

This program provides a welcoming environment for all genders and explicitly affirms LGBTQ+ identities, creating a space where teens feel safe to express themselves. The program provides gender-responsive care, meaning that teens are treated in groups aligned with their gender identity—an approach grounded in research and experience that supports honest connection and reduces distractions.

What Clients Say

Reviews consistently highlight the professionalism and compassion of the staff, as well as the program’s ability to engage teens in meaningful growth. Families praise the combination of high-quality clinical care with a strong educational and creative focus. Some parents have noted that communication could be more consistent, especially around treatment updates—but many still describe the experience as transformative for their child.
