Flexible outpatient care with personalized care plans

This outpatient-only program begins with an in-depth evaluation and collaborative treatment planning. Clients have the opportunity to work alongside their therapist to identify and plan for personalized recovery goals. The intensive outpatient program includes weekly individual counseling and group therapy. Family and couples therapy can also be included when determined to be appropriate. Care is available in person, virtually, or through a hybrid approach.

Specialized skills-based group programming

The facility offers skills-based group programming throughout the week. Groups take place Monday through Saturday. Morning, afternoon, and evening options are available to provide flexibility for attending treatment. Clients participating in IOP can expect three hours of group therapy three to five days a week in addition to an individual therapy session that takes place each week. Group types vary but can include DBT, ACT, trauma recovery, relapse prevention, mentalization, emotion regulation, the community reinforcement approach (CRA), and others.

Dedicated trauma recovery programming

In addition to addiction-focused intensive outpatient treatment, the facility offers a dedicated Trauma Recovery IOP. Programs for this may include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), accelerated resolution therapy (ART), somatic experiencing, trauma processing, and mindfulness practices. The facility also offers specialized support groups for LGBTQIA+ individuals and people of color within the greater trauma program.

Ongoing recovery support

Clients can receive continued recovery support after completing formal treatment through an aftercare program that steps down over time. This includes staying connected to therapists, peer supports, and the recovery community while also building personal networks through mutual-help groups, hobbies, athletics, and community involvement. Relapse prevention planning is a part of aftercare to help clients navigate future independence.
