Spring Hill Outpatient
Overview
Flexible outpatient substance use and mental health treatment with evidence-based therapies and connections to sober living. Programs offered are partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and weekly outpatient groups. The length of each stage can be adjusted to fit individual needs and progress, and treatment can be scheduled around family, work, and other daily responsibilities. Care plans consist of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed counseling, and relapse prevention, delivered through one-on-one and group sessions. Medications for addiction treatment (MAT) may be prescribed to help ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings. This facility accepts private insurance and self-pay.

Structured Outpatient Treatment
Clients often step down to Spring Hill’s outpatient program from their nearby residential facility, but can also start from outpatient care if they don’t require a 24/7 live-in environment. The PHP, IOP, and standard outpatient levels are all offered at one location, allowing for easy step-down transitions once clients are ready. The PHP phase provides all-day treatment from Monday through Friday. Two IOP tracks are offered: one runs five days per week, and the other for three days per week. Standard outpatient care consists of weekly groups and may have individual sessions based on client needs. This system allows clients to choose the best fit for them, and for care plans to be adjusted based on progress.
“We have so many of our staff that are able to empathize with the patients, which allows patients to open up more and just discuss what they're going through.” - Mariajose Lozada-Oliva, Executive Director at Spring Hill Recovery Center
Care for Co-Occurring Mental Health
For clients who experience mental health conditions alongside substance use, care plans can be adapted to treat both at once. A wide range of concerns can be addressed, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and PTSD. This allows clients to get the help they need in one location, without having to bounce between multiple providers. Staff can also refer clients who need additional mental health support to outside providers.
Evidence-Based Therapy and Skills Training
Proven therapeutic approaches are used across all treatment levels. These encompass cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and relapse prevention. Trauma counseling is part of the program for clients who would benefit from it. Both individual and group therapy are led using these methods. Clients also learn practical life skills such as regulating emotions, managing triggers, strengthening coping skills, and building resilience.
“The goal is for people to be able to open up and realize that they're not alone and that they can discuss what they're going through with other people and really build that community.” - Mariajose Lozada-Oliva, Executive Director at Spring Hill Recovery Center
Alumni Program and Sober Living
To help former clients stay connected to peers after treatment ends, Spring Hill offers an alumni program for anyone who has received treatment at their centers. Services include organized social events such as bowling nights and golf tournaments, as well as volunteer opportunities, GED preparation courses, and guidance regarding topics such as tuition or building resumes. For those who need recovery housing either during or after outpatient care, Spring Hill has partnerships with sober living homes in the area that staff can connect clients with.
