Outpatient programs to fit individual needs
Care is made to work for adults who need focused help with substance use disorders while attending to work, family, and education responsibilities. Outpatient withdrawal management allows clients to get medical support during the day and return home in the evening. During PHP, clients attend all-day care and go home or to sober living at night. The IOP is the most flexible, with several shorter sessions throughout the week. As needs change, clients can step up or down between treatment levels. Transportation assistance is available to help clients access care.
Treatment for substance use and Co-occurring needs
Samba Recovery Peachtree treats a wide range of substance use disorders. Many clients are also dealing with emotional, physical, and relational stressors that can complicate recovery. Samba Recovery is equipped to address co-occurring substance use and mental health concerns, including more severe conditions, through integrated care that combines clinical, medical, and counseling support.
Evidence-based and trauma-informed therapies
Treatment is centered around evidence-based, trauma-informed care. Clients may participate in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, relapse prevention counseling, and the Matrix Model for stimulant use. Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and other experiential approaches help clients process past traumatic experiences rather than just manage symptoms. Mindfulness and music therapy offer holistic ways to regulate emotions. Twelve-Step work and community self-help connections provide clients with peer support and mutual accountability.
Comfortable environment with practical amenities
The upscale facility is intentionally designed as a supportive environment. Clients can watch TV between sessions or connect around a pool table. Internet access, desks, and a business center-style setup make it easier to keep up with work or school during treatment days. A kitchenette with coffee, tea, snacks, and a mini-fridge helps clients stay comfortable without leaving the building. Air-conditioned rooms, landscaped outdoor areas, gardens, and a designated relaxation lounge provide places to decompress. Cell phones are allowed, and smoking and vaping are permitted in designated areas.
Community, skills, and alumni support
During treatment, clients receive case management, help accessing social services, housing support, and employment counseling or training as needed. Life-skills and social-skills development are built into programming. Aftercare and continuing care planning help clients step down safely between care levels. Alumni can remain connected through peer support meetings, monthly sober events, and group outings like hikes, volunteer days, sports games, bowling, picnics, and movie nights.
