Overview
Co-ed residential substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment for adults, with care plans adapted to cultural backgrounds and special needs. Focused Daily Schedules
At first, clients participate in 30 hours of clinical work each week. This goes down to 15 hours upon transition to the low-intensity track. Group and one-on-one sessions usually last about an hour. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is paired with relapse prevention and trauma-focused Seeking Safety groups, and 12-step work is also part of the program, allowing clients to make important peer connections for long-term support.
Co-Occurring Mental Health and Medical Care
EOSIS Anchorage is licensed as a co-occurring facility. Intake includes full assessments to determine mental and physical health needs. Based on the results, treatment plans are formed to accommodate them and make sure clients get the specialized care that they require. A physical exam lets clinicians know what type of medical support will be provided.
Building Practical Skills
Programming is designed to encourage people to practice life skills such as communication, social skills, and being accountable both to themselves and others. Practicing structured daily routines helps clients prepare for keeping up regular schedules once they go back home.
Accessible, Culturally Sensitive Treatment
Staff make unique treatment plans for each person, taking into account their cultural background. Any special needs are also addressed. This process makes sure that the program will be tailored in a way that is appropriate for individual needs, goals, and barriers. Transportation assistance is offered. The facility accepts both Medicaid and state-funded insurance, allowing people who have limited financial means to get the care they need.
Ongoing Recovery Support
Aftercare is multifaceted and can include coordination with outside substance use and mental health professionals, as well as medical follow-up and community referrals. Treatment coordinators and planners can help with housing and social services. Staff can also provide documents to make care transitions go more smoothly.
