Step-Down Residential Structure With 24/7 Support

EOSIS Anchorage offers co-ed residential care for adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health needs. Treatment starts with an initial screening to confirm the right level of care, then moves through higher- and lower-intensity residential phases as clients stabilize. Around-the-clock staff access supports safety and consistency, especially early in recovery.

Built-In Coordination for Life After Treatment

Treatment coordinators and discharge planners help clients stay organized while they focus on recovery. They coordinate treatment planning with outside supports as needed, arrange medical services, and connect clients to referrals for continued treatment. Planning also includes help accessing practical resources such as economic assistance, social services, housing resources, and other community-based supports that can make it easier to maintain progress after discharge.

Counseling, Groups, and Medication Support in One Program

Clinical services include individual addiction and mental health sessions, group counseling, educational groups, case management, and medical services. Group topics include relapse prevention, recovery skills, life skills, stress reduction, health education, family systems, co-occurring disorders, Seeking Safety, and crisis intervention. The program provides medications for addiction treatment (MAT) to ease withdrawal discomfort and cravings, along with medication support for mental health needs and nicotine replacement. Intake also determines whether a client needs withdrawal management in another setting before starting residential treatment.

Daily Routines, Peer Connection, and Recovery Meetings

Daily life is designed to support stability and practice recovery skills outside of therapy hours. Clients typically stay in shared rooms and have access to continental breakfast and hot lunches and dinners prepared by on-site chefs, with accommodations for dietary restrictions. Coffee is available until lunchtime, and snacks are available in the evening. Amenities and activities include a pool, exercise equipment, and opportunities for walks, along with indoor lounge and reading areas, outdoor patio space, laundry access, and a communal kitchenette. Peer support is built in through offsite recovery meetings multiple times a week and an on-site AA meeting option for clients who cannot leave. Visitation is encouraged once clients are eligible, and personal devices are introduced based on phase of care, with devices typically not allowed during the first week.
