Remote Access to Treatment
Bicycle Health provides medications for addiction treatment (MAT) to adults with opioid use disorder, through a secure, app-based platform. The program is entirely virtual, from medical visits to at-home drug screenings, making it easier to stay engaged in care while managing work, family, or housing transitions. With same-day appointments and care available in multiple languages, this model can reduce delays that often interrupt treatment and recovery progress.
Designed for Everyday Life
By offering care through video visits and app messaging, Bicycle Health removes many of the barriers that make traditional treatment hard to stick with, like long commutes, inflexible schedules, or frequent in-person appointments. Drug screenings are completed at home using saliva tests, and prescriptions for Suboxone are sent to the pharmacy of the patient’s choice. These features are designed to support people who are balancing recovery with everyday responsibilities.
Behavioral Support, Built Into the Platform
In addition to prescribing MAT, the program offers virtual recovery groups led by peers and clinicians, coaching for relapse prevention, and access to behavioral health specialists when needed. Individual therapy may be available depending on location and provider capacity, or clients may be referred to outside partners. These services aim to rebuild support systems and strengthen coping skills over time.
Is It a Good Fit?
This program may be especially helpful for adults who want treatment to fit around their lives, not the other way around. It’s designed for people who don’t need detox or residential services, but do need flexible, ongoing access to evidence-based care.
