Focused, medically monitored detox

Virtue Detox Sun City West is a facility that solely concentrates on withdrawal management. It is adapted for clients who need a five-to-seven-day stay to reach stability before moving on to the next phase of their recovery process. MAT can be prescribed to help keep clients safe and as comfortable as possible, and IV therapy is available to help replenish hydration and essential nutrients. Clients stay in private or semi-private rooms, with a TV in each room for entertainment.

Master’s-level clinical team

All clinicians have a masters degree or higher. The team includes medical directors, psychiatric nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and therapists. All of these experts work together to make sure withdrawal management goes smoothly and clients receive whole-person care.

Group and individual therapy

To keep clients engaged and help them work through issues that may lie behind the surface of their substance use, both group and individual therapy are provided. Since the withdrawal management stay is short, the therapeutic schedule is condensed to fit within this time. Clinicians may also administer mental health treatment when needed, based on a psychiatric assessment that clients undergo at the start of treatment. This can include mental health medications when appropriate for the situation.

Aftercare planning

From the start, case managers help clients start preparing for discharge. These plans are adapted to each client’s specific needs, and may include referrals to residential or outpatient levels of care. Staff can also connect clients to sober living and long-term recovery resources.
