Treating the Root Causes of Addiction

The center offers an alternative for clients who don’t resonate with the traditional 12-step model, instead focusing on the underlying causes of substance use. Their approach targets contributing factors like trauma, chemical imbalances, and unresolved emotional pain. Clients are offered a personalized blend of therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and hypnotherapy. These methods are designed to bring lasting change by holistically addressing both mind and body.

Intensive One-on-One Therapy

With a 1:1 staff-to-client ratio, the care team is able to provide each client with 60 to 70 hours of individual therapy per month. Combined with psychiatric care and nutritional counseling, clients are offered neurofeedback, which uses real-time brainwave monitoring to retrain patterns linked to stress and substance use. IV therapy, which delivers nutrients and hydration intravenously to support physical recovery and aid withdrawal symptoms, is also available.

Oceanfront Luxury in a Private Setting

Clients receive treatment across five retreat-like, ocean-view estates set across 10 acres. These estates have outdoor pools, hot tubs, and meditation gardens for full relaxation. Private rooms include king-sized beds and ensuite marble bathrooms. Recreational amenities like a full gym, tennis court, and basketball court allow for plenty of exercise. Clients can enjoy massage therapy and spa treatments, and gourmet meals are served daily.

Holistic and Creative Therapies

The program includes a wide array of holistic therapies designed to promote both inner and outer healing. Clients can participate in meditation, yoga, and sound therapy, and receive fitness coaching from a personal trainer. Equine therapy gives individuals an opportunity to relieve stress and connect nonverbally to horses. Art therapy can help channel deep emotions into tangible expression, and life purpose coaching helps get clients in touch with themselves and explore their inner motivation. Acupuncture and Reiki are also offered to those interested.

Fun Outdoor Group Excursions

As part of the treatment experience, clients often participate in recreational activities as a group. These include guided hikes on beautiful trails around Malibu, beach walks, and bike rides along the coast. Sports outings like basketball, tennis, and golf are a great way for clients to unwind and work as a team. By enjoying these activities together, clients build closer connections, support one another, and enjoy themselves while working through the recovery process.
