Full-Continuum of Care for

Critical, Community-Based Services

  • Milestone operates Southern Maine’s only specialized substance use disorder emergency overnight shelter for men, offering 36 beds, a safe place to sleep, nutritious meals, clean clothes, showers, and counseling.
  • The Homeless Outreach and Mobile Engagement (HOME) Team provides outreach and community support like mobile health care, intervention, referral, and transportation services to those with chronic health, mental health and substance use disorders living on the streets of Portland.
  • The Housing Navigator Program provides clients resources to transition out of homelessness and into stable, permanent housing, with key components of the program being advocacy, case management, benefit establishment, and connections to mental health, substance, housing, and other resources.
