Not a fit if: Women or people seeking outpatient-only care; those who want private accommodations or a less structured schedule; and people planning to self-pay.
What to expect
Developing your care plan
- Admissions assessment: Treatment begins with an assessment to decide what type of treatment or level of care would best fit each client.
- Creating a care plan: Licensed professionals review mental health, medical, and substance use history so that the treatment team can build a care plan for each client. Clients are also assigned a counselor who helps review care plans based on their needs.
- Ongoing treatment review: Clients meet with their treatment team for daily huddles to review progress and goals, and treatment teams meet once a week to evaluate client progress and adjust care plans and goals.
Typical schedule
- Structured residential routine: Clients can expect a highly structured day with regular mealtimes, group meetings, and one-on-one counseling, with a total of about 35-40 hours of weekly programming.
- Therapy and education options: Clients benefit from individual sessions with addiction and mental health counselors, and group and educational therapy with topics covering relapse prevention, life skills, coping skills, family education, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Who you will meet with
- Counselors and mental health staff: Clients work with an addiction counselor and mental health counselor for co-occurring disorder care.
- Nursing and medical support: Licensed nursing staff help provide medical support during residential treatment.
- Peer support and discharge planning: Peer support staff and a discharge planner also help clients identify the best next steps after residential care.

- Nature-based community setting: The facility is located in a wooded setting, and is designed to promote communal living and collaboration.
- Shared living spaces: Clients live in shared rooms with one to two roommates, and have access to common areas for reflection, relaxation, and community-building.
